Step 5:
- Serum: Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum https://sokoglam.com/products/klairs-rich-moist-soothing-serum
Step 6:
- Face Mask: MEAROSA Natural Face Masks (Pomegranate, Green Tea, Honey, Aloe) http://tiny.cc/qp1igz (Amazon link)
Step 7:
- Moisturizer: Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream https://sokoglam.com/products/klairs-rich-moist-soothing-cream and Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream https://sokoglam.com/products/klairs-midnight-blue-calming-cream?_pos=1&_sid=fbf149a75&_ss=r
Serum:
Serum provides intense hydration to the face, which is key for smooth and healthy skin. This product is perfect for those with sensitive skin, acne prone skin or dry and itchy skin. I take 3 pumps of this and apply it to my entire face in an even layer and pat it into my skin.
Face Mask:
This is another deep hydrating step. The mask is soaked in a serum catered to whatever your skin needs. I use them sparingly since it is a bit expensive to use more than once a week. However, if you feel you need the extra hydration, I highly recommend using it 3 times a week or even once daily. They’re actually extremely effective and worth it if you need it. Generally leave the face mask on for about 15 minutes and let it soak into your skin. Pat in the excess serum once you remove it.
Moisturizer:
Extremely nourishing and calming on your skin. After applying all other products, use an appropriate amount of the Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream and apply on your whole face, patting it in. If you feel like your skin has some redness in certain areas than I recommend using the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream. I have redness on my cheeks so I use a little product there and it has significantly reduced my redness. A little goes a long way with this cream, and only apply on affected areas.
Sunscreen:
Even if it’s raining or snowing and you can’t see the sun, wear sunscreen. I never really did before reading about how important it actually is. It prevents wrinkles, aging and sun damage. Use whichever sunscreen works for you but I’ll leave some recommendations below.
Neogen – Day-Light Protection Sun Screen SPF 50/PA+++: https://sokoglam.com/products/neogen-day-light-sun-protection-sun-screen?_pos=8&_sid=0decf9bc0&_ss=r
Papa Recipe – Honey Moist Sun Essence SPF 50+PA+++: https://sokoglam.com/collections/combination/products/papa-recipe-honey-moist-sun-essence-spf-50-pa
Hopefully this helped shed some light on Korean beauty and a potential routine that would be good for your skin. I would still recommend doing additional research about the many products that could be even more effective for you than the ones I’ve tested. I also found this COSRX product to be amazing. https://sokoglam.com/products/cosrx-acne-pimple-master-patch It is a clear patch to place atop a pimple as a treatment. They’re extremely effective and I highly recommend using it. You can apply makeup on top of it too, to protect your skin from additional inflammation or infection.
